Deleted iPhoto?

Hi, my friend somehow deleted his iPhoto from his Macbook, now all is left is the logo on the dock and when you click on it, it doesnt load up.

He has used Spotlight to find it but thinks it has been completely deleted from the Harddrive.

My question is, is there anyway to get this back, is there a download available or will he have to buy it - he also doesnt have the OSX startup disks anymore!

Any help would be appreciated!

Where did his discs disappear to? If he doesn't have the disc, he's S.O.L.

Call AppleCare. In some cases they will supply replacement restore DVDs at a reasonable cost.

Why doesn't he have them? I guess I would have to suggest he buy them, given the details you have provided... 😕

Or call for replacements... 😉

He lost them moving house....unbelieveable but true!

Perhaps i'll direct him to Applecare....!
