I've websurfed for info and haven't seen anybody report this same issue that I'm having, so I hope someone can help me here. I have icloud sharing and photo sharing turned on. I like to use my iPhone 4S to take photos of auction items for my volunteer work. Of course, once the items are sold I want to delete the photos. Following the instructions I've found on support.apple.com, I deleted them from the phone. They came back.
Then I deleted them from from both camera roll and my photo stream on the phone. Looked through the list to make sure they were gone. They were. A few weeks later I noticed they were all back again.
Then I deleted them from the camera (same steps as above) AND my iPad. Checked and they were gone. A couple weeks later they were back.
Did that all again and made sure they were gone. They were. Today I logged into iCloud from a browser on a PC to do something (just looked around, and marked a few photos as deleted that I thought I'd deleted previously). Logged out, and then looked at the photos app in my phone. Yep.... they're all back!
Someone please, please tell me how to permanently delete the stinking things? (The iphone is current at iOS 8.4.1 and my ipad 2 is one version behind.)
