I accidentally deleted an important bookmarks folder in Safari on my iPhone 8+ a few minutes ago. Its an important folder. Is there any way to get it back??

Yes, looked in files on iPhone but no sign of the deleted Safari folder.

Anyone else any idea how to get it back?

You’ll want to turn off automatic backups as soon as possible and restore.

Sorry but I think that’s the only way.

A couple of ideas - not sure if they would work but I thought it was worth mentioning just in case.

Do you have an iTunes backup. If so you could try using an app that can read and extract data from the backup. IExplorer is one such app but I believe there are others. There is a Mac and Windows version which has a free trial. You may be able to retrieve the data you need during the trial period and thus avoid a full iPhone restore.

Also do you have Safari iCloud switched on and a Mac computer?

I know when you delete bookmarks on the Mac you can undo by going to the bookmark menu. Maybe this would work if iCloud tabs is on even though you deleted on iPhone. I’m guessing not though!

If you have a Mac that’s syncing your bookmarks, turn off your internet before launching it and you should be able to access and export your bookmarks folder, then re-add them after the syncing deletes them.
