iPhone X Deleted Wallpaper Recovery?

I've got a wallpaper selected on my phone, and also have it as my WhatsApp wallpaper. It's long since been deleted / lost, but yet when I get a new phone, the restrore of my backup always re-adds it.

Is there anyway of actually recovering the file, so that I have a backup, in case I want to setup the phone as new, rather than restore from backup?

I can backup to my MacBook Pro if it'll allow me to extract a file.
