Good to know, thanks! :) I got my phone at Apple, but through T-Mobile's plans. The receipt implies I can return my phone to the Apple Store though. Hoping for a perfect screen... Congrats on yours!

Thanks, I was pretty unhappy to be honest. But I got it sorted pretty quickly and I hope anyone that has issues gets it solved quickly.

The only thing I notice with my speaker is when I'm playing Clash of Clans and collecting my elixir. It cracks and when I turn the volume all the way up the music and sounds are crackling/distorted. Everything else seems ok though. I haven't listened to music much yet to notice.

A Bazillion phones fabricated in China (or anywhere it needs to be said) - some are not perfect! Oooh Gosh Big surprise!

Really?

Is anyone experiencing a buzzing noise while streaming with your Bluetooth? This morning for the first time I heard a strange buzzing noise coming from my car speakers after streaming from the music app on my 6S. It happened twice and is the first time it's happened. Anyone else?

With regard to the color temperature of the display. I compared my 5s to my 6s and the the temperature was virtually identical. Surprised there is such a wide variation.

My only issue is the worse speaker than 6+. Sounds like cheap phone speaker

Yes the 6S+ loudspeaker disappoints me greatly. It's the only area where the older phone is better. I didn't expect Apple to change little things like the speaker on an S model! I wonder if they've just played about with the EQ, or whether they have actually cost-cut here and there to enable 3D Touch to be employed but to keep the phones at the same price...

My only problem with my 6s is the low speaker, which is annoying but I can live with. This is why I usually don't get phones as soon as they come out. I wait for the 2nd or 3rd batch. I'm going to wait a few months and use my last JUMP to get the 6s+ hopefully that one will be better.

My 6+ had a low volume speaker too. I think it's the way they are with the Plus models this series. I noticed that the iPhone 4 and 5 have much louder alert tones and the speaker is way more in your face. It doesn't bother me but the bright treble whilst playing music does. The 6+ loudspeaker had a much warmer and pleasant tone.

Slight pinch mark on my 6s Plus, and I mean slight, as in I hadn't seen it until i read the threads and stared a lot.

Backlight is uniform brightness across the whole display. Minimal backlight bleed. No dark "stagelight" or bookspine effect on top of the screen. No colour shifts. Just tested the speakers on full volume with all of the ringtones and no distortion.

V pleased :)

Also to note, this happened only after updating to iOS 9.0.2.

My display is great, my sound is fine, I had a bit of freezing but it resolved itself after about 24 hours. Only occurs after fresh install or OS update. I'm thinking it's a syncing issue.

Besides that, I'm satisfied.

6s 128GB T-Mobile, space gray. TSMC chip.

Is anyone else hearing some sort of a distortion in the earpiece while calling? My speaker sounds normal but when the earpiece makes a kind of a distorted sound at certain times. I've updated to 9.0.2 but that distortion is still there. It kinda disappears when the volume is less than half the full volume but anything beyond the halfway line and some words get "messed up" (not sure how exactly I can put this)

Edit:

I think this page below has a few others who have the same/similar issue (it's from an old thread about 6+)

In terms of screen temperature (warm vs cool), how do we know that's a defect? Whose to say Apple didn't tweak it?

Regarding the speaker volume, I set up as new last night and am not using a backup. Reason being that I wish to cure my auto iCloud backup not working. I figured starting afresh and creating a new backup might fix it...

Anyway, surprisingly my alert tone volume is MUCH louder now. I have the volume lower than I did previously and yet the alert sounds are still way louder. I haven't checked speaker volume yet but I'm expecting an increase too...

It's not. If you look at the camera comparison, the "yellow" screen is a better representation of real life (as you can see in the pictures).

If anything, the blue screens in the past were the bad screens.

Okay, well that's what I was wondering. I'm far from an expert in the matter but I think it is silly and presumptuous to compare a new screen to a previous generation and just immediately conclude the new screen is wrong.

All of my devices have had a yellow tint. Except my Air 2.
I prefer the yellow tint, easier on my eyes.

Oh for sure. It's similar to incandescent versus fluorescent lighting. I think most would prefer the warm homey incandescent color over the cold Walmart style fluorescent color. Maybe people feel differently about their phone. I don't know I guess. People here seem to take it pretty seriously.
