Deleting apps?

I just want to know how to delete an application on 2.0. I'm sure there is an easy way, I just want to know the correct way.

just hold finger on screen as if your going to move the icons. The apps you have downloaded will shake too but have a cross on them click the cross and confirm and its deleted.
