    Are there any negative ramifications?

Contacts is just something Ill never use, so do you think removing it is ok?

The only thing I can think of is it might screw with your itunes syncing. Also, some of the apps (mail, maps) use contacts to store phone numbers, addresses, emails, etc, so that won't work.

you could just edit the N45AP.plist file and move the contacts listing down to the catagory with other hidden icons. That would make it not show up in springboard, but you wouldn't be deleting any files.

If you need further help with this just pm me or something
