Does anybody know how to remove data using Tiger, from a CDRW or DVDRW?

I know how to burn stuff onto the disc, just do not know how to remove it 🙁

Any Tips?

Thanks.

Is there any other way to erase an RW ?

Does Toast do it?

Just wondering.

There are other ways and I believe Toast is one of them. If we went listing the ways though.... we could be here all day! 🙂

I got time.

from Terminal
Code:
diskutil eraseOptical /Volumes/CDName

But you have to purchase Toast and being a student, dont really wanna spend money 🙂

And Terminal seems complicated 😀

Disk Utility is fine for me 😀

Toast has two types of erase...

Quick Erase - which is pretty fast (faster than the OS lame burning) and can then be burned again using Toast

Standard Erase - this is like the erase in the OS
