Deleting Doubles in iTunes

If there a quick way to do it? I know i will need a 3rd party App to do it

That functionality exists in iTunes v6. Open iTunes and select the Library or a playlist. Edit>Show Duplicate Songs.

Is it really that hard to click on all the ones (while holding down cmd) you want to delete from the doubles list and then hit delete once at the end?

It would be a useful app, but deleting dupe tracks manually is probably the safest/most effective way of doing it. Just hold down the apple key and select away.

yes it about 1400 songs, so an app to do it would rock

and its not my main iTunes so if i screwed up my iTunes it would not be a big deal

You can batch delete dups under iTunes and on the shareware proggy I posted. Did you investigate or just hit two buttons and then post a snappy comment?

Well that App lets be delete 3 songs with out paying, and i don;t want to pay for it

And for Batch Deleting this iTunes i would still need to click on my 1300 songs. I will probly do it like that but it will be done in stages

No accuse people of stuff it nnot like i'm force you to help, if you don't like how it reply just stop helping🙄
