I have a Readynas nv+ device on the network.
I can connect using AFP and it works very good.
However, when i drag files from this share to the trash, i cannot find them there. Also, when dropping them in the trash, i receive the message that the files will be deleted permanently.

Can anyone explain me why? And how i can force them to be put in the Trash?

thanks!
Kris

The simply answer is you can't use Trash on a network share. Files are deleted straightaway.
