I’m trying to delete files and photos off of my Seagate. When I right click there is no trash option. When I drag it to the trash that doesn’t work either. What am I doing wrong?

Right click on that Seagate drive, then choose Get Info from the menu.
From that info window - What format is your Seagate drive?
If it is NTFS, then that answers your question - you can't modify an NTFS format volume natively from your Mac.
You can read or copy files from an NTFS volume, but you can't make changes to the volume.

Thank you!! Ugh, yes it’s NYFS. So if I want to be able to delete files I need to buy a different hard drive? Which one do you recommend?

You can erase the disk and re-format using whichever format you prefer.
