Copied some photo's from my cybershot to my ibook, now in the desktop there is a SONYCOPY.IND file, when i try and put it in the trash it says " operation cannot be completed because sonycopy.ind is locked" how can i unlock this file and throw it.

Rightclick, and click "Show info".

Choose the bottom fan (something like "owner and permissions".)

fiddle around there, and see if it helps:)

choose application?

Hey there. When i click on it it just comes up "choose application" or "cancel" no owner permission. Any other ideas. Only got this Mac couple of days ago so getting used to the change from windows you'll probably be hearing from me again. Thanks.

Click on it with the *right* mouse button (not left), or if you only have one mouse button, hold the Control key and then click on it, and then try the directions in the previous message. Otherwise click on it once (not twice) and then from the File menu select Show Info.
