Deleting Mac Mail account.

What do I have to do to get rid of my macmail account? It is a pain when I send e-mail that I have to check I am using the proper account. I have an e-mail account set up with my I/P and want to use it exclusively without having to check that outgoing mail is not sent on my mac account that is not active.

Click on mail an go into preferences. inside there the macmail account should be there. highlight it and hit the minus sign
