Deleting music from iPhone through iTunes

Hello,

In order to delete music from the iPhone, do I have to authorize a computer first? I am able to access the list of music that I have on iPhone through iTunes however, when I select I cannot delete them.

Can someone please explain why, and how can I fix this?

Hi i hope this helps:
Authorise your pc
When iphone is plugged into itunes where devices is you can see what music is on your iphone.Right click on song then delete.
