unless I am missing something, you used to be able to just slide to delete songs you didnt want on your phone, iPod etc. Now it is making me start the song, then go into it and delete. That really sucks if it stays this way.

Also when i try to edit a play list within my music the app just freezes lol

Long press brings up a menu. You don't have to start a song first to remove the download.

Also. It is an early stage of the app. Many things are unfinished and missing due to it being redesigned.

In ios you can slide to delete in Settings->general->storage & icloud usage->storage->manage storage->music, but not in the music app.

There is a quicker way to all of that in iOS 10. Settings > Music > Downloaded Music.
