Deleting old email contacts

I've emailed a couple of businesses and now they seem to be in my email contacts(even though I didn't add it). Does anyone know how to get rid of them?

unfortunately you cant without restoring.... I have searched for the same thing and I have found thats the only way to do it

I thought the same thing. However, maybe if you deleted the account and made an account again?

tried..... the contacts are still stored on the phone!

That's crazy. Are they in the Contacts app?

Edit: I decided to write an email to test, and no it doesn't put them in the Contacts app. So, it's pretty weird if you delete the email account, you still get the same contacts when you reopen the account.

Does it add them as actual contacts, or filter when you're writing an email address to actually email? Because the former is weird, that's never happened to me.

ah yes, I know what you mean. I've been trying to get rid of the email with my wife's maiden name. I haven't been able to figure this out. Hope there's a way!😀
