Deleting photos doesn't really delete them?

I'm liking the new way of organizing photos, but it seems (and I don't know if this is a bug or not), that after I delete a photo using the photos.app, and then make sure to delete it from the Recently Deleted album, when I plug my phone into Aperture to import photos, those photos are still there. Has anyone else experienced this?

I actually like this feature! I've accidentally deleted pictures before, I have a feeling this feature is going to come in handy.

Except that if I want it deleted, I would like it deleted. Otherwise is the space just being marked to be reused when needed or what?

It's a bug. Photos and camera is littered with bugs at this moment

Yep it's a bug which I filed a few days ago. Beta 1 follows the pirate's code and deleting stuff is more what you'd call "guidelines" than actual rules. 🙂
