Deleting photos

I cannot figure out how to delete unwanted photos from Photo Library. I can from Camera Roll, but not the Library. No Delete button shows up on my iPhone 4. Please help!

You delete photos from your phones library by using iTunes. Tick the folders or items you want removed on the next sync.

I heard you will be able to do that in the next 5.1 iOS firmware update.
For now like the poster above said you will have to do it with itunes.
