I have/had the program theftsensor. It was too gimmicky so I went ahead and deleted it. So it's gone from the system or so I thought. I went to use my remote to press play on it and the theftsensor icon popped up saying that Theftsensor was on. Hmm...ok. I went to the activity menu and sure enough it's still there as a root. How do I delete/remove this?

Check the readme that's in its install folder. I believe uninstall instructions are there. (I looked at playing with it, but it looked a bit too intrusive to the OS for me, at least for this sort of app).

edit: if you did the uninstall per the readme, did you restart after?
