ugh...

First off, I couldn't find anything that says this is a beta. Where are you guys seeing that? It looks as though this is supposed to be a stable release by the way it is being marketed.

Secondly, it looks as though they have REMOVED features. When you create a new item, the only thing you are presented with is a search box?? What ever happened to being able to add barcodes manually?? What am I missing here!?

Was the documentation even updated at all? Search for 'USB Scanner' and the answer that pops up is telling you to do things from the old interface.

Since I've owned small companies, I understand understaffing. So, I won't complain too loudly at the lack of timely support. But, it really does seem as though 2.0 was released prematurely.

Support seems to have gone away. Documentation is AWFUL! It looks like it hasn't been updated and it looks like it's incomplete. FAQs on the website are very, very basic. Not the type of support I'd expect for a $40 program (plus I paid $20 to upgrade to Version 2).

Yes, Support has definitely disappeard

In version 2.0, there's no icon for adding people or loaning out a book (like there was in version 1). I sent an e-mail pointing this out on May 30, and have not received a reply. Today is June 16. And, i agree, they released a half-finished product.

To add a friend click the plus in the immediate bottom left. A window will pop up with the last item being friend.

To lend a book to a friend, just drag the book over the friend's icon.
