I was having so many damn problems with apple pay, I wasn't able to go through until 12:07

Two Watch Sport
- Silver w/pink 38mm
- black w/black 38mm

That's the problem when Apple has a preorder website that works-- 10x as many orders get through, so you have only 1/10 as long to order before your shipping date slips.

Couldn't get the App going at my time (1:01a, but then it at 1:03 or 1:04a.) lol... I quickly navigated to the Sport Watch Edition with Blue band and ordered it, then saw AppleCare+ and without even thinking I just ordered it too. I am glad that I did. Anyway, it says my order will be shipped 4/24-5/8. Sorry that some of your orders got delayed though. :/

Kal.

It's possible that shipping times for pre-ordered watches will be moved up once Apple gets a handle on stock and factory output.

I had my iPhone, iMac, and iPad at the helm. The iPad loaded everything first. Surprisingly.

My iMac ,and iPhone kept saying the store was down.

i wanted to get a green sports band, but by the time I got around to it, it said 2-4 weeks shipping, I was like, naw.

3:04AM, and I got the May 13th - May 27th date... HOW MUCH FASTER DID I NEED TO BE?

Same here.

This is the first time I've ever missed the initial launch window when purchasing an Apple product, heh. If this had happened with an iPhone I'd be gutted, but with this....dunno, I feel kind of indifferent, likely because I'm not really all in on the concept yet. Correction - I am in on the concept, but not this iteration particularly, there's too much about it that screams first gen. As exhibited by me going for the cheapest model - I usually purchase maxed out Apple products (which would have been SS link in this case, categorically NOT the Edition lol).

Plus, when I do take delivery it's in conflict with my small collection of Swiss mechanicals and I seriously doubt it'd ever usurp those in the "what shall I wear today" contest.

Anybody else order but not receive an email confirmation?

I actually ordered twice through the iPhone app because the first one assigned the wrong billing address, despite entering it correctly in my account, then crashed before going through.

There's also nothing coming up in order status...

----------

Never mind, sent to an entirely unexpected email address. Both of them.... I guess I'll just cancel the one with the wrong billing address. Or should I try to switch the billing address since I ordered that one first?

Sport 42mm, Black, order confermed at 12.05am PST, same boat as you guys. I guess we just keep out fingers crossed. If I remember right, the iPhone 6plus order came in a bit early in Oct.

I was not going to order an Apple Watch until after trying one on and hearing some real world reviews, but I woke up 10 mins before launch and started thinking about the watch. I couldn't sleep, so I decided what the heck and grabbed the iPad laying on the nightstand and got in on the Apple Store app and toggled back and forth between the SS and the Sport.

It was a tough choice, but after realizing that the $200 upgrade to the SS was half the cost of the Sport, I decided to go with the Sport. I hit the pay button and didn't realize the App was going to ask me for my 3-digit security code. Darn it! My wallet was downstairs and I knew the creaky stairs would wake up the wife and probably tip her off on what I was up to. I took a guess and got it wrong. Then after laying there for a moment, I missed the first batch window and watched my delivery date slip away. I actually thought about canceling altogether, but finally decided to go for it. Down the stairs I went, waking the wife up in process.

I'm bummed about missing the first delivery window, but I guess there's nothing I can do. Not having my security code was a real aw shucks moment!

I'm in this club. Apple Store app did not come up until 12:04am. Then the app asked for my shipping information, even though I entered those yesterday. This probably caused my order to be in this batch.

Ordered the Sport 42mm Space Gray.

If I had the means, I would just order the SS with Classic Buckle. It's still showing 4/24 - 5/8 delivery.

Website wouldn't load till 3:15. Got the 42mm SS model with black sport band.

Ship dates May 13-27. Really hope it gets pushed up. Still have yet to receive my confirmation email from Apple? Guess it's good I printed out my order...

I am in the U.S.

Store didn't load on my iMac until 3:07 am. Had Black Sport Watch favorited and paid by PayPal. On product page said delivery 4/24 but confirmation email states delivery 4-6 weeks May 13-27.

Hey guys! I'm proud to say I'm a member of this club.

My wife never had the option. Modern Buckle was always 4-6 weeks as soon as the store opened.

Then I had 2 38mm Milanese for launch day delivery. I also had a 42mm Milanese at 3:30 thinking I wasn't gonna keep the 42mm.

Well the 42mm was much better in person, and that was 4-6 weeks as well (May 13th-27th). I canceled my 2x 38mm Milanese and kept the 42mm So here I am :)

I'm trying my best to forget the order, and hope next time I check, it'll have changed, at least by next week. I'd say by all the return talk already, the shipping will move up, just with canceled orders alone.

My birthday is the 29th of May, I'm praying for a very early present, along with us all!

I don't remember in the past if they update the estimated times or just deliver early.

One thing is for sure, there were a lot of cancelled orders due to people ordering a 38 and 42 before trying in store the next day. And Apple cut some orders over 2.

Remembering back to the iphone 5 and 6 orders, it was pretty consistent until about a week out of the delivery date, then things got really screwy. I'd blindly compare this to the iphone 6/6plus release, which got a little harry with buyers regret.

As I've read in the MR forums before, "there is a special place in hell for the people that order a bunch" especially due to try ons now.

Interesting to hear their cutting orders...

I think they're gonna go out early tbh.

Now Apple knows which models they have to churn out more of. So I think they'll definitely go out before the date listed.

My watch is estimated for June, but I'm expecting it before then.

Ordered at 2:03 am
I guess i lucked out

I woke up before 3AM EST. My confirmation time stamp is 3:05am. May 13-24 for 38mm Space Gray Sport. :(

I ordered a 42mm the next day at noon, but that one says June.

I want the bigger watch, but I'm not sure I want to wait. Plus, my wrist is 155mm and it may just be too big anyway. Time to hit the store and try them on again.

That's what I'm hoping as I ordered a 42mm as well and that says 'June' for a ship date.

Leaning toward the 42mm instead of the 38mm as there appears to be more band choices.
