Delivery problems with MBA 13 inch 4GB

Hi,

Does anybody know whether Apple has problems to deliver a MBA 13 inch with 4GB of memory. I did order it oct 26th and the first shipment estimation was 1 week later. Now my dealer told me that it might be coming Dec 9th.

You should have ordered directly from Apple. I ordered on the day of the keynote, got the laptop 1 week later.

Where did you buy it from? I ordered mine last Friday from Apple Online Store and it shipped on Monday so in 3 days as advertised.

Something's definitely up with your dealer as Apple, MacMall, and others are shipping them out much faster.

I placed my order for a 11" 1.6/4gb/128gb on 28th October trou a premium reseller in Sweden, still waiting, last I heard was early December.

Yes, Apple keep the 3rd party waiting.

Apple always takes care of their customers first before third party retailers. If you ordered thru third party retailers to save some money, this is where the price of discount comes.

Well, of course it does, Geekbench is a CPU benchmark, not a real world test. It doesn't fill up memory to test out swap performance, so extra memory doesn't help.
