Hi all

Ordered a 12 Pro on the 26th October and provided with an estimated delivery time of Nov 11-18.
The order is still processing so its not going to arrive within their estimate.
We also ordered one on the 19th October and the delivery estimate was 2-7 Nov and then this changed to 18-19th Nov and this is still processing too.

Anyone else in a similar situation?

Thanks

I ordered a Pro on the 7th November. Delivery time 24th Nov to 1st December. Changed to preparing to ship 36 hours ago and still stuck on preparing to ship

this is what im seeing, orders placed after our two are starting to show progress, ours just seem stuck.
Called Apple and they said nothing can be done until the day after delivery was due - even the one that was pushed back.

Do you have an Apple Store near by? If so, check to see if they are operating, and see if they have it available for pick up?

Your thread title is misleading. You were not given a delivery time, just an estimate. Once the phone ships you’ll have a better estimate.

Usually, Apple estimated delivery dates are conservative and they beat them, but not always. Be patient.

To be fair the first order was an "estimate" for the 2nd to 9th november, its now the 18th and still no progress.
I havent been harrasing Apple over this i was just asking if this is normal. I would normally upgrade for the new handsets and get them on release day but going direct with Apple seems a much shorter supply of handsets for some reason this year. for nearly a week after ordering with Apple o2 still had stock at the time for next day delivery (and still do at this moment) but i dont want it on contract so i will be patient.
Its frustrating when you see other orders for the exact same spec, ordered afterwards, are getting theirs before us.

I have been checking the store stocks and havent once found any of the nearest 12 stores having any of the Pro models, only a Pro Max.

Yeah there are plenty of Pro Max's around in the retail stores. I saw a Pro in my retail store today as being available, refreshed the screen and it changed to unavailable. I am just hanging on for my status to change to shipped. I dont think i will be getting it tomorrow but hopeful still for friday

Preparing to ship is actually good. In general, that means your phone has a label and is traveling. You can track your phone on UPS MyChoice. Apple's status won't change to shipped till like one day before delivery.

Thanks but I don't have a tracking number and wont have one until it ships and the calendar function on UPSMyChoice shows nothing

Go check the thread pinned to this forum for Apple.com orders. There are several methods you can use to find your tracking number in UPS' system.

Had a look and people seem to be tracking by reference number but i don't think its going to help as using the reference number minus the last two digits didn't work. UPS My Choice shows no deliveries scheduled either. UPS generally don't deliver in the UK. They pick returns up but Apple use other couriers for delivery in the UK.

I ordered an iPhone 12 Pro 128 GB Graphite on November 13. The estimated delivery window was December 8 - December 15. Then Monday I got a shipping notification and a tracking number with UPS, still awaiting an updated delivery date, but it is in transit out of Shanghai as of Nov. 17.
I wonder if the different configurations of storage and color is making a difference?

Its a little confusing for UK orders as we can track orders coming in from china. I tracked my Series 6 watch travelling all over europe but for the iPhones we dont seem to now anything until they with a UK courier.

I suspect configuration has a lot to do with it.
I put in an order for the blue ProMax 256gb on the 13th Nov with a projected delivery of Nov 26 to Dec 3 - got it yesterday.
pdq 👍

If it's coming from China, it will stay on Preparing to Ship until it clears customs in your country. if you have a free UPS MyChoice account, tracking should show up there. If you don't have a MyChoice account, make one...just be sure that the address and phone number in your account match what's on your phone order with Apple. :)

I don't think it will even show up if UK doesn't use UPS as a delivery. They use DPD and/or DHL, not UPS.
