Is this a good monitor for photography? I have not heard comments specifically for use by photographers (serious amateur just beginning to work for money). Thanks for any opinions.
If it's only serious amateur work, just get a good 24" panel from your local costco. Unless you're getting paid 'the big bucks', I wouldn't shell out too much for a LaCiE, Eizo, or etc
look up the differences between a TN, PVA and IPS LCD panels. and Find out which one the 2209WA is. There's your decision.
According to this site, that's an IPS display, which means it's ideal for photography. IPS is probably the best of the three panel types.
