Dell 2407wfp-HC Color settings

Does anyone have any recommended settings for this monitor? What is the difference between MAC color mode and PC? I have it running off of my 17" MBP. Thanks!

Open System Preferences and click on the Monitor pane. You can calibrate the monitor using the integral calibration tools.

I tried doing that. It asks me to raise my contrast all the way up, and nothing looks right when the contrast is at 100.

I downloaded a nice ICC color profile from somewhere, I'll try and find it.

I personally run the brightness and contrast way down.

Oh. On the monitor settings, there is an option for Mac color mode and PC. Do you know what the difference is?

That would be awesome. I tried an ICM profile that I got here http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview.aspx?catid=31&threadid=2002685

Is that the one you have? Is there a difference between an ICC and ICM profile?
