I agree that the war on drugs has been a failure. It doesn't really matter what drug a person starts with. Certain people have an addictive personality and so will also try other drugs. The money used on the war could be better spent on prevention and treatment facilities.

What can i say, when you're right, you're right. Much like when they legalized prostitution in NL... instead of spending the money on fighting it, which doesn't work, why not institute health systems to *really* protect the citizens? Imagine what a single good, new drug counsellor could do for addicts if their services were paid by government. One in every city, and we'd *still* be saving a ton of money.
