My old monitor bit the dust this morning and I'm considering a 24" Dell U2412M as a replacement.

Is anyone using the Dell U2412M monitor with a stock 4.1 Mac Pro (NVIDIA GT120) and Snow Leopard? I've seen comments that there is a conflict between some graphics driver's dithering system and this monitor's use of Advanced Frame Rate Correction (A-FRC) to emulate 8-bit color from this 6-bit panel.

Any other recommendations on a 24-27" monitor for under $300 with my configuration?

I would get that monitor, its a great monitor, I doubt you'll have any issues. I have the U2312HM and no dithering issues here.

I had 2 x U2412M connected to Radeon 2600XT, than same monitors connected to HD5770, 2 x U2412M connected to HD5870 + 1 connected to 560 Ti and no issues.
