I need help guys my Dell monitor U3014 resolution is 2560 x 1600 and it shows only 1080P. How to get my dell full resolution.
D500 GPUs in my late Mac Pro.
I connected display port from my dell to thunderbolt to Mac Pro.
I also did reset NVRAM and it did show up 2560x1600 in system preferences Displays for few minutes and back to 1080p again. any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Perhaps a silly question, but if you’re using another signal cable than the one supplied with the screen, have you made sure that it can handle the necessary bandwidth?

That Dell monitor requires a dual Displayport cable to run at 1600p. Works fine on my iMac. Never used it, as sitting next to a retina display I can't handle old-school resolutions any more :)
