But looking at macOS Monterey I think it could be sooner or later possible to run a .exe like Stockfish on the MacBook Pro but using the power from an iMac in the same time too. This will double the hardware performance.
Maybe it’s better to buy an iMac or later the iMac Pro instead one of the monitors which I have mentioned before.

Or which one would be the best?

Monterey will not run .exe files unless using something like wine, which runs under Rosetta. Won‘t be very efficient.
Plus I doubt there is going to be an iMac Pro. The latter was just introduced as a stop gap

I think Apple may dub the new larger display iMacs (once they're ready to be released) the new iMac Pro just to differentiate them from the M1 iMacs, since the bigger iMacs will likely be running with a more powerful Mx SoC. And so Phil Schiller can be quoted to say "No M-series iMacs for professionals, my ass".

Sure, they could. But they never made that distinctin except for this one-off iMac with Xeons. Tberefore I find it unlikely we‘ll see another iMac Pro anytime soon
