They can't stop it, it's completely legal and has been available by sideloading through AltStore for years now. Nice to be able to install it via official channels, though I can't get that copy of it to let me sync with DropBox right now. It keeps crashing right after I tap 'Allow' in the DB popup.Used to use GBA4iOS back during the iOS 7 days - super psyched it's officially available without jailbreaking/sideloading. Didn't really follow it for a couple of years, but man, it still works like a dream.
Things change, and I have no doubt that Nintendo's psychotic IP enforcement team is sending a liquid metal robot to various targets to "enforce" their IP via a hail of laser fire.Delta has been a thing for years. Nintendo never sent a C&D in that time. He’s also not charging for it, so that probably helps.
SE as in Sweden, EU. But it seems article is updated about it being available in an Alt Store for us.Maybe the screen is not big enough.
I meant Sweden, EU. Article updated about it being in an Alt Store for us.Not sure what he/she meant by "SE"
I have Delta running on my SE1 with a 4" screen just fine
I was just trying it out and I did get haptic feedback when I push the buttons. See if it's disabled somewhere for you?Oh man I just found an old Game Boy with Super Mario Land 6 Golden Coins while cleaning out a closet. I used to play that all the time back in the day. This is so awesome. Only thing is I wish the controllers/buttons use the Taptic Engine or some way to feel like you were pushing a button.

Now I’m getting it. 👍🏻I was just trying it out and I did get haptic feedback when I push the buttons. See if it's disabled somewhere for you?
It actually works really well; was able to play some Mario without dying *too* much. My only complaint is there's a bit of an audio delay when using my AirPods.
I wonder why the developer is trying to gatekeep where the consumer can get the app from?I meant Sweden, EU. Article updated about it being in an Alt Store for us.
It is a bit ironic he’s doing that after everything. It’s still free but really flies in the face of everything developers like him have been pushing for with Apple for years.I wonder why the developer is trying to gatekeep where the consumer can get the app from?
Apple didn’t take down the Bimmy emulator, the dev did because there were a few forum members here that were scaring him on Nintendo’s behalfI’ve learned to download these emulators immediately since Apple keeps taking them down
Of course. But without the games emulation is pointless. An emulator itself is legal. Nintendo lost that fight decades ago. Roms on the other hand. That’s more of a grey area.
What’s gross is mods lets it happen. That person is still posting in that thread about how their mission is to get Apple to reverse course on emulators.Apple didn’t take down the Bimmy emulator, the dev did because there were a few forum members here that were scaring him on Nintendo’s behalf
Is he some Nintendo attorney without enough work to do in Redmond? What’s gross is mods lets it happen. That person is still posting in that thread about how their mission is to get Apple to reverse course on emulators.
I’d bet he’s nothing more than a diehard Nintendo fanboy. Is he some Nintendo attorney without enough work to do in Redmond?
Of course. But without the games emulation is pointless.
"Don’t complain about about fragmentation" they said. "If you don’t want alternative app stores, just don’t use them and nothing will change for you"
Well, there we go. Of course the stores will leverage exclusivity. So far, no benefits for customers.
