I was with you up until the last line. Sorry man, but that's just plain incorrect. I've had 3 Unibody Macbooks. 2 AIR's and 2 MBP's and a 17" Aluminum Powerbook and neither have ever gotten a dent. I have to work in the field daily so I take them with me and not once have any of them been dented. You make it sound like it's easy as denting a coke can and that's wrong.

Lucky you, My MBPs always end up dented after a few weeks use. Some dents I know how they happened but some other I have really no idea. Not huge ones but small ones on the edges, about half a millimetre long. No big deal though.
Anyways, my point is: is it really worth the loss of money for the OP?

Fix a dent in aluminum? Did you ever try to fix a dented Coke can? All I can say is get a Invisibleshield/Wrapsol and a sleeve for your next MBP.

I know how annoying a scratch or dent can be. What I would do is sell it right away and buy a new one. You'll get a better price for a new MBP with a dent in it, than an old dented one. That's just me though, and I resell my MBP every year to get the latest :) My 2009 13" (2.53) had a small dent in it actually, sold it for the price of a new 2010 (2.4) MBP :D

Well, this post is almost 8 years old, and the OP hasn't been on the forum for over 6 years so you might be waiting awhile...

Use primer on the dent..level it smoothly like a pro and then use a good quality skin on top of that.
