Dang! I know that hurts.. this is why I will always use a case. It’s nice not to use a case, but I’m too nervous without one.
I've got zero beef with anyone rocking an au naturel iPhone, no case, no tempered glass - they're the ultimate rebels.
I agree, but seriously, who needs a case when you can parade your iPhone around and shout, 'Looky what I got, a brand spanking new desert titanium iPhone 16 pro, aren't I special?!'
Sure! LOL. But in reality no one cares about our new iPhones because everyone is trying to do the same thing with their new purchase.
I have never broken the cameras. The back several times for sure. This one hurts as the color is beautiful and the phone is so crispy new. Happy they worked with me though gotta give them credit where credit is due.
Not sure I run around asking people if I am special just love using the phone with out a case. But good judgement
I do use a screen protector and when I’m golfing I use a case as I throw it in the cart etc.

Not at all true. Not using a case will result disaster as seen in this thread. It’s only a matter of time.
I put my Desert Titanium in the clear Apple MagSafe case with an ESR screen protector. Used the phone for a few days without the screen protector and with it now the screen feels buttery smooth. Weird how the screen protector screen is more slippery than the actual screen.
And for that 1/1000+ occurrence, that’s what AppleCare is for
Exactly this. Ya I made a mistake but for $99 I’m willing to take the chance. Had a lot of iPhones first time I broke the camera.
I have the desert titanium and the natural titanium iPhone 16 pro max phones, both 1TB. I have a Nimbus 9 case on the Desert and a grey / clear Supcase on the natural titanium phone. I will buy more cases as new ones become available. I like leather sleeves, leather cases and UAG cases. A few of the UAG cases retail at $100. 25 foot drop protection and they look great. I’m not interested in “showing off” my new iPhone for all to see because no one cares. People never come up to me and ask “dude, is that the new iPhone 16 pro max”? Is it awesome? Just enjoy the iPhone for yourself.
Why do so many assume I use my phone without a case so people see it lol. Everyone know was assume stands for!?????? Cases make an already big phone even bigger and bulkier. Jesus

If I had AppleCare, I would go Case-less as well. I still have 56 days to decide on AppleCare though.
Ya I asked for some consideration. Guy was super nice and waived it for me. I told him it was my fault.
That’s just the vibe I get when so many want to use the phone “naked” as it’s called to show it off to others. I know that’s not the reason. Of course using a case or not is personal preference, I get that. Do what you want. I’m not trying to convince anyone to use a case, just stating the fact that I do And I enjoy them. It’s a way for me to dress up the iPhone. I’m one of those guys that doesn’t like to see any scratches on my new iPhone and as it ages. That’s where the protective case comes in for me.
