    Hi all

So, someone I work with has a son wanting to do a design degree. I've lost touch with which universities are good or bad, so was wondering if anyone had any recommendation as to the best university to study at?

    We're based in the UK.

    Cheers all

In Scotland i can put my vote in for Abertay University though if your based in England you wont get the free Tuition fees, and extra support we get.

Oh just to add you're wee enn will want to do at least a honours you dinny get to far with a vanilla degree.

Brighton is very good (but they seem to have quite a specific style - which is great if you like it). Kingston seems to produce good graduates too.

I was thinking just the other day I wish someone had pointed those courses out to me before I went to uni.

You should try and make it to some degree shows (http://www.creativereview.co.uk/cr-blog/2010/june/degree-shows-2010) or head down to D&AD New Blood and check out most of the Uni's all under one roof.

    Good luck
