I used to have a logitech performance mouse mx - that lasted me a couple of years and then just stopped working one day. But it was a great mouse while it worked - it was a wireless mouse, but when it ran out of battery, you could just plug it in with a usb lead.
I now have a steelseries rival gaming mouse - a bit smaller than the logitech, but the config tool is much nicer, so you can do a lot more with it.
I do lots of CAD work, and I quite like the idea of having a wired mouse so I don't have to worry about it running out on me.
