    Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_3 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8J2 Safari/6533.18.5)

What do you do with your computer? If you mainly do light tasks like surfing the Internet and word processing a Mac Mini or iMac will be more than enough. (and if you like glossy screens, the iMac's built in screen is to die for). If you do heavy computing tasks like video editing, graphic design, industrial design, CAD software... You will be better off with a Mac Pro, although you can get away with a high end iMac.

Your budget also is a big factor. The Mac Pro costs alot, $2500 for the least powerfull model, and that doesn't include a screen. The iMac has multiple price points, and is apples main consumer desktop. The Mac Mini is the cheapest, but also does not include a keyboard/mouse/display.

And yet another aspect to consider is expandability. Both the Mac Mini and iMac are difficult to expand, and have limited options. The Mac pro is apples most expandable system. In the Mac pro you can easily swap out hard drives, optical drives, PCI cards (apples only computer that even has PCI slots) PCI based Graphics Cards, RAM. and the processors can even be swapped out (but that will void your warranty)
