Been using the desktop version of Apple Music since it's release. Found it suits my needs perfectly. Adding music to my existing library is easy and luckily I've experienced none of the issues that others have spoken about (loss of album artwork, duplicate tracks etc).

I've yet to update my iOS though. I've still got the old style Music app for example. Before updating to the latest version is there anything I should be aware of? Any potential pitfalls that could ruin my library?

Thanks!

From all I have seen so far, the chance that you will be doing ok if you're not an iTunes Match user is pretty high. Don't kill me though if it doesn't work out. 😀

What you can do of course is to pull a backup from your iOS device before the upgrade, and if it really ends up being a mess, you could fall back to that backup.
