montycat macrumors 6502 Original poster Apr 12, 2009 #1 How do I create an icon shortcut that is not saved as a Web Archive? Most of my shortcut icons are not current when I click on them. I have to reload to get the current webpage. BTW, all my shortcuts are in a folder on my Dock. Any ideas? MC

spinnerlys Guest Apr 12, 2009 #2 So you want a bookmark of some website on your desktop or dock, is that right? If that is so, just drag the little icon on the left (it's changing due to the website, or might be a blue ball) of the web address to your desktop.
