Hey guys, I seem to be missing my icons on my desktop like my Macintosh HD and my X-Plane icons. I also tried to take a screenshot but when I did the picture didn't appear on my desktop.

Anyone know where they've gone and how to get them back?
 
Did you rename your Desktop folder in your home folder? This would cause that to happen. To fix it, first log out and back in so a new Desktop gets generated, then open your home folder and move the stuff from the renamed Desktop folder to the new one.
