This is a little strange; I've had the desktop background image set to change once every 24 hours for years. At 0.00am. It's set to switch randomly between astronomical images in a folder.
Last week, we set back the clock one hour for 'winter-time', but the desktop image still changes at the same time discarding the daylightsaving, and changes now at 23.00pm.
It seems the mac is being smart enough to ignore this stupid 'daylight-savings' thing and go by the position of astronomical objects!
I've had this scheme for years, and this never happened before.
