"Desktop" iPad App

How the **** do you set it up? I had the settings all correct and it kept saying "failed to connect".

I've heard that you would need to restore the iPad as a new iPad to get it to work.....

I had a similar issue with Air Video. I had the Firewall on my Mac set to ignore all incoming connections.
