Desktop Mounts

Hey guys is there a way to hide network shares that are mounted from being displayed on the desktop but still in the finder

There's a check list of items to be shown on the Desktop in the Finder preferences (which is in the Finder menu or accessed by pressing COMMAND-COMMA), is this what you mean? 🙂
