I'm having troubles right now. I go to the hard drive and try to click on desktop but it says I dont have sufficient access priviledges. What am I doing wrong?

What do you mean by go to the HD and click on the desktop?

Do you mean

Hard Drive > Users > Home Folder > Desktop ?

If that's what you mean then go to this Desktop icon in your Home folder, select Get Info from the File menu and ensure your permissions are correct. :)

Ok. I click on the HD. On the left column, there is iDisk,Network,Macintosh HD,Desktop and so on. I click on desktop and it just says I dont have the priviledges to click on it. I also can't click get info because it won't even let me get to it for desktop.

Ok then go into your home folder and click on the desktop folder icon and do Get Info and check permissions from there

make sure it has read and write permissions

Sweet. Thanks a lot. I think I can finally fix that downloading problem now!
