Desktop recording software suggestions?

I am trying to record steps by step actions on my mac. can anyone recomend a good prog that will allow me to record my desktop?

HD videos (ready for YouTube etc.), audio and text effects. You can even see it's been used in some Apple videos (icon in the dock).
