Hey. Hope this is the correct forum for this. How come the walllpaper for my desktop no longer stretches to fit my screen? Used to be fine. I don't see any settings in the preferences for making it stretch etc. The wallpapers for my other ID on my computer stretch and fit fine.

Running a 17" imac @ 1440 x 900.

Thanks people.

I have this problem to sometimes. Once i change from one wallpaper to another, the option for "stretch to fit" doesn't always appear. But when you are in the desktop preferences just switching to another wallpaper then switching back to the orginal wallpaper seems to fix the problem. I dont know why this brings back to the option to "stretch to fit" but it does, for me.

It happens on my G5 with 20" Cinema Display.

Switch back to an Apple provided wall paper. It will bring up the "stretch to fit etc" options. Choose the one you want, choose your wall paper (the options will disappear) but whatever option you set will stick.
