I keep seeing this black menu bar, and i cant figure out how to get ahold of it. Anyone know how I can get this on my MacBook Pro???

It's not a standard feature of the OS – it's a theme that's been applied using a third party app such as Shapeshifter. I couldn't tell you the name of the theme off of the top of my head, I'm afraid.
