We all know its better. That was the whole point in the refresh.

Apple's poor quality control has let a lot of poor screens slip onto the market though.

Do I need to bring out the Kleenex? These so-called yellow tint issues are overblown and a case of grasping for straws. Then again, I like to see the demographic making these idiotic claims, it's probably kids raised to think their entitled.
 
with regards with his comments on screen reflectivity, I always hated the shiny screen, in the apple store I could barely see the details of the ipad3 due to the bright fluorescent lights and daylight in the glass store front. I used anti-glare protector on my iPad1 and it helped a lot. Do you think a protector on the 3 would effect the clarity too much? I used the Power Support, one of the best IMO.
