    Hi all,

I'm new to this forum and also to iOS programming so please be gentle..

I'm trying to develop a statistical app for iphone, that will run in the background and keep an independent log of calls made from and received to the iphone.

I found out that in older versions of iOS there was no way for an app that's not in the front to tell when a call is being started/ended. Has that changed in iOS 8?

(It should work without jailbreak of course)

Any help or info will be much appreciated!

    thanks,

    ith

Maybe the mods will move this question to the programming forum, where it may get better exposure.

Shall I repost on the programming section?
Is it allowed or should I wait for the mods to do it?
