iOS detecting duplicate application

hi all,

recently i figured out that i spent time on a game and that was released into appstore by somebody. How would I be able to know that what apps are there in appstore ? detecting this will save me time. Will apple allow duplicate apps ?

Open iTunes and have a look? There is no other way really.

Yes. Look at the number of duplicates already on there.
