Determining if I have USB 2.0?

Hi. I am trying to figure out if my Powermac (Single 1ghz from 2002) has USB 2 on it. I need to know so I can buy a new iPod without worry. How can I do this?

I'm not certain but I think the first Macs (at least the Power Mac) to receive USB 2.0 was the Power Mac G5.

Ok, yeah. That's what I'm guessing. System profiler only lists a max speed of 12 mb/s 🙁 .

Goto your system profiler. If it says USB High-Speed Bus you're in luck.

The MDDs with FW800 had USB2. Apple didn't give us USB2 until FW800 was released.

You can always add a USB 2 PCI card.
