OpenStep is only equivalent to the Foundation Frameworks, not AppKit or UIKit. GNUStep is incapable of running CocoaTouch or Cocoa apps.

Not having to reimplement all of NSString, NSArray, NSDictionary, NSEtc... doesn't so bad uh ? ;)

Wouldn't be too hard apart form recreating inconsistencies in the behavior. Mostly be an exercise in Algorithm implementation.

Would be nicer if he showed off more things than "Hey I can scroll up AND down!"

I remember seeing videos similar when Windows 8 DP launched, some guy talking about Windows 8 with a "review". Yes all he did was scroll left and right on the homescreen for 4 minutes while he talked about the stuff on it. At no point did he actually show anything. It actually began to infuriate me, because his scrolling left and right was constant. "Yes we've seen you can scroll left and right 300 times"
